The Oncology Acupuncture Collective provides evidence-informed education designed for acupuncture students, licensed acupuncturists, and academic programs seeking to strengthen oncology-focused training. Participants develop the knowledge, clinical judgment, and confidence needed to safely and effectively care for people affected by cancer.
Developed from nearly two decades in integrative oncology, more than 20,000 oncology-focused patient treatments, and countless conversations with people navigating cancer, our programs bridge the gap between theory and real-world clinical practice.
Program Offerings

Before you can effectively support someone affected by cancer, you have to understand the world they're living in. This foundational program explores the patient experience, supportive cancer care, and the role acupuncture can play before, during, and beyond treatment.
Breast Cancer Decoded:
What Every Acupuncturist Needs to Know
From ports and surgical scars to radiation changes and endocrine therapy side effects, people with a history of breast cancer often arrive in clinic carrying experiences many acupuncturists were never formally taught to understand. This program helps practitioners decode the breast cancer journey and better understand how treatment history shapes patient presentation, clinical decision-making, and supportive care needs.
Oncology Acupuncture: Safe Practice from Day One
The question isn't whether acupuncture can help. The question is how to provide it safely.
From intake and communication to treatment modifications and referral decisions, this program explores the clinical judgment, safety considerations, and practical decision-making skills required to confidently care for people affected by cancer. Through real-world scenarios and case-based learning, participants gain the clarity and confidence needed to navigate oncology care safely and effectively.
